I am a Twin-Cities based photographer with workspace in Studio #418 in the Casket Arts Building, located in the Northeast Minneapolis Arts Corridor.  I specialize in Portrait, Food and Commercial Product photography with side interests in Fine Art, Street Photography, Travel, Landscape and Urban/Abstract work.  My work is inspired by Manuel Alvarez Bravo, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Minor White, George Hurrell and Irving Penn, and draws from travels through most of Southeast Asia, Latin America, and North America, including frequent photographic explorations of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.  My work can be viewed at my studio by appointment or during open studio events like Art-A-Whirl®  (calendar at http://casketarts.com/events.html), on my Keith Miesel Photography Facebook page, or my Instagram gallery (@keithmiesel) as well as the Northwoods Friends of the Arts gallery in Cook, Minnesota  See Contact Info for details.
